Topic: A Woman's Daily Life in Colonial America
Our Speaker Series continues on March 19th. In honor of Women's History Month, Dominish Miller will speak about a woman's daily life in colonial America - their hard work yet with limited legal and political rights. This presentation will last 1.5 hours.
Ms Miller is the Third Circuit Court of Appeals Librarian for the Middle District of PA, the founder of Preserving the History of Newberrytown, she runs the Lewisberry Area History Lovers group and is a founding board member of the Newberrytown Special Event Committee. She serves as Librarian and VIS Chair for the Harrisburg Capter, NSDAR. Dominish is also a living historian with the 67th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company C, where she portrays a Second Corporal. She is the author of two cookbooks and a local history book. Her books will be available for purchase.
