Step back in time at Dills Tavern for a day filled with history, music, food, drink, and community fun. From Colonial America through the modern era, costumed reenactors will bring the past to life across the historic tavern grounds.

 

Explore the tavern, distillery, and wheelwright shop with the help of knowledgeable docents. Watch engaging demonstrations, including hearth cooking, fiber arts, distilling, I'mand blacksmithing, or visit colonial woodworkers in action. Guests can also enjoy guided tours, tomahawk throwing, cornhole, and browse the open gift shop.

 

Local flavor shines with the Farmers Market, opening at 8:00 AM and staying open past noon, featuring a variety of fresh goods and handcrafted items. Delicious smoked sausages by NYCHAPS will also be available for purchase. Local craft beer will be on tap!

 

At 1:00 PM, enjoy a special solo performance by Brad Munn, member of the award-winning bluegrass band West Branch 3. WB3 is the 2025 recipient of the Central PA Music Awards Best Bluegrass Band. 

 

Additional festivities include cornhole games and beer and wine sales, making it a perfect afternoon to relax and enjoy the spring air.

 

Don’t miss the quilt display at the Maple Shade Barn, where you can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautiful, handcrafted quilt.
