Calendar of Events

June 24 -26 – Latimore Valley Fair. – Friday eveving to Sunday afternoon. It’s a great three days of old-time fair family fun. NYCHAPS sets up the mobile gift shop and hands out information on all the great things we do. For information call 432-4021.

June 24, 25, 26 - Bake Oven Construction - Students will learn how to build a traditional squirrel tail oven out of antique brick. For more information call  432-4553.

June 26 – Basket Weaving – Learn the basics and take home a small finished project. Parent /child (age 10-14) class from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and adult class (15 and up) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. For more information call 432-9488.

July 1 – Annual picnic meeting – we supply the hotdogs and hamburgers and drinks – you supply the sides and desserts. More details in next month’s newsletter.

August 21 – Will Fisher Orchestra – event to benefit Dill's Tavern. Tickets are $15 a person and on sale at The Book House and any NYCHAPS event. For more information 432-4021.

September 2 – Annual Dinner Meeting - 6:30 at the Maple Shade Barn, program to be announced. Tickets will be available at the August meeting. Watch for more details.

September 11 – Colonial Days in East Berlin – support a sister society by attending this high quality crafts show and street fair. And volunteer a hour at the NYCHAPS booth!
